DSOGaming writes: "Following the animation reel of Aliens: Crucible, VGLens has revealed a 13 minutes video with in-game footage from Obsidian’s cancelled Aliens game. This video showcases the gameplay mechanics of Aliens: Crucible, the environments, and the character creation menu. Oh, and for the first time we get to see the main menu, as well as some combat between humans and aliens. Enjoy!" (Aliens: Crucible, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

Certainly in a rough state, but it seems like something I could really enjoy once it was cleaned up.

Almost always end up loving Obsidian's games.

So that Gearbox masterpiece could get all the attention...

I can see why they canceled this, but I think it could have been really decent if given more time and attention. It seems intense anyways.

This is an alpha.

It would have had an entire year of extra development time before it hit store shelves.

Looks like it could have been a great game. Lots of potential there. Obsidian games always have lots of technical problems, but the games themselves are always fantastic.
