New Gears of War Judgment multiplayer trailer – “Guts of Gears”

Saw retro lancer and shotgun, instantly put me off the game. That crap ruined Gears 3 and it looks like Judgement will plunge the series even deeper down the toilet.
It's frustrating because there is a GREAT franchise underneath all this crap, but thanks to dumb decisions the games just get worse and worse. No wonder all the key people from Epic have been leaving, seeing their flagship franchises handed off to People Can Fly and made even worse is a good time to pack your bags and seek greener pastures.
it looks better than gears 1-3 if you ask me. I dont know if i'll like horde 2.0 being gone but overrun looks badass!
doing 2 grenades and jumping over stuff was so needed in the game. Also of note the fact they got rid of down states means other guns will negate the shotgun so your wrong JIM bob!!
the hammer burst was pretty powerful in GOW3 but downing enemies made it worthless.

You shouldnt be put off by it. Starting weapons across the board have been nerfed.
Lancer has the ROF of an active lancer but the damage is similar to Gears 2 (maybe worse). HB has gained a fair amount of recoil. Retro is a lot less accurate at mid/long range and gained a fair damage decrease. The gnasher has kept its range but taken a small damage decrease. SOS is basically the gnasher in reverse: Shorter range/more damage and only 2 shots.
I was adamant I would wait on this one, but the videos always get me excited!!! Looks like I am pre-ordering.
Gears 1 - Medium paced Gears 2 - Slow paced Gears 3 - Fast paced Gears: J - Faster paced
MP is always a blast in Gears. I suppose this game is alight with me now, I just hope that they can do something original next-gen. Also, for Achievement Hunters out there, there is no "Seriously" achievement so-to-speak. That means no 1000 hour grind :)
Hope this game turns out good and you guys can enjoy it.Im a ps3 owner (i have my personal reasons for not buying an xbox) and out of all the ips that micro have this one was always a series i wanted to play.

This is easily the most balanced Gears TO DATE.
