NVIDIA has released the official launch video and new pictures of their GeForce GTX Titan GK110 based GPU. As known already, the GeForce GTX Titan carries the all so awesome design scheme of the GeForce GTX 690 and combines it in a smaller package equipped with the blazing fast GK110 graphics processing unit.

I'm starting to be torn. I don't know if I should get a Titan or hold off for the GTX 790. I would hate to miss out on this card trying to wait for the next best thing and the 790 isn't as good.

trust me and wait you won't have buyers remorse if you get this then something twice as powerful comes out. wait a few more months. I have the money for this but it's actually saved up for Maxwell which will totally abolish this card!! it will be a true next generation card!

NVidia I think is skipping the refresh and going strait to Maxwell that's why this card is out as a scape goat till the real "Mainstream" cards come out.

nothing is set in stone yet but by calculating there adversaries time frame "AMD" (4q2013) I am pretty sure there next mainstream cards will be this year and since Maxwell is already late and pushed back (2014) they most likely will skip the refresh and release this card (Titan) in it's place till the end of the year! 3rd or 4th quarter 2013 we will know for sure!

if it's a repeat with the gtx 480 and gtx 580 being released a few months apart then it might be sooner than later.

For the cost of this GPU i can get next gen Ps4(400$) xbox(400$) and a GTX660(200$).

The thing is its 10x faster than all things i buy combined.

what I am upset about is the fact they released this card so late. I really hope some features can be introduced with drivers like overclocking your refresh rate on any monitor/TV to 80hz.

I rather spend on that amount of money on PS4 & Next Xbox. Consoles gurantee to have better optimisation. Games like GTA, CoD and MGS come out first on consoles and releases months later on PC if ever. Console u get more for ur money.

Unfortunately this still isn't a fully unlocked GK110 as GK110 has 2880 stream processor, but like the Tesla K20X it appears an SMX unit is still being disabled to improve yields, which is unfortunate.

i'll put this in perspective for some of you guys you can buy three gtx 670 for the price of this card! overclock those and you will be at twice the power of this card!

I will gladly wait for the true next gen cards like Maxwell which will come out in a few months along with the next gen processors from intel "Haswell" and overclock that to 5ghz to 5.5ghz easy since the new thermal design would allow that.

That twice the power you speak of is all relative to what resolution you are running at.. 3x gtx 670 would still struggle at at resolutions of 2560x1440 and upwards (stereo gaming) because of vram limitations. This card allows max settings, at higher resolutions, with vsync on. True definition of "Maxed out"

@kenoh who the fuck are you calling dumb dipshit? I have 2 4gb gtx680s in sli currently, and previous to that I had 2x 2gb versions and to be quite honest there's very little diff between the two. Titan will rape these cards at max settings at 1440p, and if you don't agree then we'll just have to wait for the benchmarks then won't we..
