Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is a very innovative, engrossing, spellbinding, and controversial title. If there is one word I can use to sum up the experience of playing MGR, it would be perplexed. The game was almost canned by Kojima Productions due to difficulties with the story line and production direction, however, Platinum Games, well known for titles such as Bayonetta, Vanquish, and most recently Anarchy Reigns, were handed the reigns to steer this title in a new direction. This was a decision that was downright risky given the nature of the game and also its main character, Raiden. (Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, PS3) 95/100
