Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Review – Go Ninja, Go Ninja Go | BootHammer

"Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is a unique experience and it has successfully set itself apart from the stealth based series it was crafted from. It’s a fresh take on the franchise and is impressively solid from its tight gameplay mechanics to its over the top visual presentation. The different approach was risky but Kojima Productions and Platinum Games have given fans an entirely new way to play within the Metal Gear universe and it's a thrilling high octane ride from beginning to end." - BootHammer (Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, PS3, Xbox 360) 9.5/10

Great review, I really hoped that Platinum Games would come through, and it looks like they did! Can't wait to get my hands on this

They really did well, the game is beautifully polished and extremely fun. It's certainly different from the typical MGS but a fresh unique take on series that is certainly welcome till we get Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes =)
