Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Isn’t a Day 1 Digital Title on the PSN
For everyone who was currently holding out for a last minute announcement that Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance would be a day 1 digital title on the PlayStation Network, we have some bad news.

The big deal is that Sony usually does these day 1 digital titles and Rising isn't good enough to be on their list. I mean it's already obvious that it's going to be garbage and flop. Even review sites haven't been pushing out reviews early because everyone will know that it's short, mediocre, and not worth buying.
If it ever does become a retail title then it will be later when everyone knows how terrible it is and that's why Sony isn't adding it as a day 1 title.
Meanwhile, it's a big deal for other games (especially the ones that are good and are worth paying for).

Ok point at hand 1st publishers foot the PSN bill for a title being put up. If the publisher didnt budget in the added expense then it wont hit PSN until its earned enough to warrent it or the publisher feels that spending more could potentially net them more profits.
Nothing that goes on PSN or XBL is put up by either company unless of 1st party or exclusive deal.

And why would it be? Nobody would buy this garbage anyway. It's a 5 hour crappy hack & slash that's nothing but a cash-in. No fan of Metal Gear would support this trash and Sony knows it.
Sony thought ahead and knew that people who buy it were instantly going to return it the next day and buy something that doesn't suck so they don't want the anger to be on them by releasing something like that early when you can't return it.

Call of duty black ops 2 wasn't on psn's digital store too on day 1.. now I wonder if this will happen to god of war ascension too I really want that game to run on my hdd only..
