Tom Ivan: ''Asked if the studio has significant post-launch content in the pipeline, and whether it intends to offer anything above the industry standard multiplayer map packs and new game modes such as fresh campaign content or a co-operative experience, CEO Cevat Yerli told us:
"We're still exploring that. We have some plans in mind that we can't disclose yet, but we are going to wait a little bit to see how the beta's running and how the game does for the first few days. We do have a big plan to support it."
Publisher EA said last week that three million gamers downloaded the Crysis 3 multiplayer beta, and that Crysis 3 pre-orders are 35 per cent higher than Crysis 2's were back in 2011.''
Why must we pay 60 bucks for a game only to have to pay even more money for content? Why cant we ever buy a game....and thats it, get our moneys worth without having to shell out 20 bucks here, 10 bucks there for a bit of extra content?
Simply for more profit as well. Not going to lie and pretend it's not at least somewhat about just making money.
