Seattle Seahawks Quarterback Russell Wilson Gets Serious About Football Video Games

Forbes -- Drew Brees, quarterback of the New Orleans Saints, and Russell Wilson, quarterback of the Seattle Seahawks, were on the same field in New Orleans Super Bowl week. But they were united to help Visa teach kids 50 students McMain High School and McDonogh No. 35 High School learn about finances. Visa has created a new serious video game, Financial Football, that’s been designed to help kids and adults tackle their financial future. The game is accompanied by a classroom curriculum and has been distributed by Treasurer John Neely Kennedy’s office to every public middle and high school in the state of Louisiana.

Wilson took some time out from the Super Bowl festivities to talk about the role serious games can play in education today, and chimes in on the realism of EA Sports Madden NFL 13, in this exclusive interview. (EA, EA Sports, Madden NFL 13, PS3, Xbox 360)
