Interview: Ubisoft on AC3's first DLC, The Tyranny of King Washington

CVG - We sat down with Tyranny of King Washington creative director Marc-Alexis Côté to talk about the new Assassin's Creed 3 DLC, what inspired it, and how the new Connor is able to turn invisible. The DLC will be released in three parts - The Infamy, The Betrayal, and The Deception - the first of which goes on sale on February 19. It's set in an alternate reality in which George Washington rules America as a mad, tyrannical king after the Revolution. (Assassin's Creed III, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

I love AC games which i'm sure most of you know that have been here on N4g awhile. I'm not ok with where there taking this DLC and it's not because it's america. I wouldn't of been happy if they had a different reality with ezio. I want them to add or progress the overall story. This really just seems retarded. Ubisoft says "history is are playground" but this looks alittle off key. I buy anything AC from toys, comics, books but i will not buy this DLC. Progress or add to the story not whatever this is.

"This version, the mad king, is a transformation of Washington's personality by the Apple of Eden ... If that doesn't make sense, it'll become clear when you reach the end of the DLC."

At first I wasn't happy with the "alternate reality" setting, but if it makes sense, I'll give it a look.
