Visceral's unannounced title is studio's 'fastest greenlit' and 'most desired' project

An unannounced title currently in the works at Visceral Games is the studio's "fastest greenlit" and "most desirable" project, according to comments made by an EA director. (PC, PS3, Visceral games, Xbox 360)

Dead Space 4 with Isaac Clarke...

But his limbs are replaced with rocket launchers with unlimited ammo and Necromorphs are replaced with humans and cyborgs.

That's the only thing I can think of when they say it's the "fastest greenlit" project since it's EA.

I wouldn't mind seeing something similar to Dante's Inferno (good game) or a action RPG from them.

I'm also curious to see what comes out of Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel.

I'm betting it's Dead Space 4 as an FPS. EA don't even have to think about it, it's an automatic green-light-money-maker.

Never mind the fact it'll be just another generic shooter.

If EA turn DS4 as an FPS, than i'm done with DS T_T

Hopefully it's not true...

No, the game must be a modern war FPS with micro transactions and alot of DLC already planned out to be their fastest greenlit and most desired project from EA

Fastest greenlit by EA... so it's an FPS, doesn't involve any female characters outside of gender stereotyped roles... and probably has a multiplayer focus so they can milk it with DLC...

:P

Exactly what I was gonna say!

So it cant be a new IP considering it only has a 2 year development cycle. That would be pushing it unless they have been working on it for awhile

Visceral is a pretty talented developer.
Interested in seeing what the game is about.

I wonder if the "new action title" is Dante's Inferno 2.
ApolloTheBoss  +   521d ago
You mean Dante's Purgatory.
Cajun Chicken  +   521d ago
I would actually like that, DI was awesome, sits next to the God of War games on my shelf.
Skate-AK  +   520d ago
I know people just saw it as a GOW clone. I liked it a lot and they have a lot of material to work with.

The next gen of consoles are really going to be slow getting off of the ground, so many games are coming to current gen into next year that people might as well not put next gen consoles any time soon because 95% of games will be on current, very disappointing really. Games will be held back just like they have this gen :(

As a fan of Visceral Games, I am excited to see the studio's unannounced game soon.

"Hey execs, we've got a new game we think you're going to love-"
"Hmm. Is it likely to be profitable?"
"We're calling it DLC Wars-"
"-APPROVED."

$60 at retail, but you still have to pay $1.99 to unlock each chapter.

BUT, you get a free Dragon Age II Verric skin if you pre-order from Target!

I pray that it's not Dead Space 4.
baldulf  +   521d ago
Dante's Inferno was terrible and the only good Dead Space was the first one.

Can't say I'm very excited.
DA_SHREDDER  +   521d ago
hey quit hating on the only good God of War clone ever created
baldulf  +   521d ago
Castlevania Lords of Shadow is a better GoW clone, and a good game overall.

@baldulf Lord of Shadows was good, but the camera was horrible at times. Getting rushed by several mobs you can't even see was always fun....
tdogg  +   521d ago
I hope its Dante's inferno 2
krisq  +   521d ago
Dead Space Soccer.
Tontus  +   521d ago
I hope it's a sequel to Dante's Inferno because I love the genre and the first game is a decent foundation to build upon and improve for the next game. It could be a great game if it is more inspired, ambitious and polished than its predecessor.
BLUElightCory  +   521d ago
My guess - Dead Space prequel, including what happened on the Ishimura pre-Issac.
dlpg585  +   521d ago
you mean dead space extraction? on the wii?
Black-Rock-Shooter  +   521d ago
i really hope its something different as a lot of people seem to want them to stay to what they have but they should start to embrace next-Gen and experiment on new ip's sure coming back to dead space or even dantes infeno is great but we need to push stuff....
