Is Beyond: Two Souls Coming To The PlayStation 4?

Quantic Dream's latest game, Beyond: Two Souls, was announced at E3 2012 as a PlayStation 3 title. However, with the PlayStation 4 reveal event just around the bend you can expect the unexpected. The Last Guardian was supposed to release on May 29th, 2011. Almost three years later we're finally seeing news roll in suggesting that The Last Guarding has been promoted to a PlayStation 4 launch title. We've heard very little from Beyond: Two Souls' creator, David Cage, on the upcoming game which leaves us wondering; is Beyond: Two Souls headed for the PlayStation 4, also?"

I think it's coming to the PlayStation 3... but since David Cage said the announcement is "coming very soon" earlier this month, could mean that he will announce it on the 20th at the event.

I loved Heavy Rain and this is probably my most anticipated game of the year. If it's a PlayStation 3 title, great! If it's a PlayStation 4 title... I want proper backwards compatibility and not that streaming crap.

Coming to ps3 and ps4 through Gaikai. Wouldn't be surprised if a lot of ps3 titles do too.

last I checked Beyond hasn't come out yet so it would be new and it's a new IP so it's even more new than a lot of games coming out. How is it now "truly" new?

I think it's rather obvious what i mean . Even if it's not out yet it's an Ip we already knows about .

Anyway i dont see the downside . Beyond on ps3 + another completely unknown ip at launch on ps4 easily beats having only Beyond on ps4 . Especially if it leads to having Beyond on ps3 + the Kara demo actually becoming a game on ps4 .

I'd rather see a brand new game from QD on the PS4.

A quick upscaling and framerate upgrade to PS4 could be done by quantic dream quickly or done by a third party less quickly. Either way it'd be nice. I would also like a Battlefield 3 port like the PC version and a Skyrim port in the same vein. The framerates (both) and MP size (just BF) were terrible on consoles.

Wasnt the Kara tech demo showcasing what the PS3 was capable of, hence they used their engine for Beyond Souls?

Would be a waste to suddenly redo all that in order for a release on PS4.

Will say well done on making an article title people click, but the article basically...Well it doesn't say anything. It's like someone saying Xbox 720 could be announced? Then spend an article talking about how it might not, then end saying it still could.

As I said props on making something people click, but apart from that you just repeated information we all know without really presenting an opinion or new details.
