Top 25 Final Fantasy Boss Battles Of All Time – Part 3 and 4

Analog Addiction Writes: "Final Fantasy, it evokes countless hours of random encounters, incredible characters, some of the best soundtracks of all time and so much more. In December Square Enix celebrated the 25th anniversary of the very first installment. Right now they are offering great discounts on their games on PSN as a way to say thanks to all the fans of the series – and there are quite a few.

Well, I’d like to thank Square Enix by recounting my top 25 Final Fantasy boss fights of all time.

Now, as a disclaimer: I’m only going to include the numbered entries, but not XI or XIV as MMO’s are a completely different experience. This is my opinion, and there isn’t a perfect way to irrefutably rate all the bosses in the series. If you have a mathematical formula I can apply, let me know."

Longest and hardest boss fight Ultimecia FFVIII, best boss battle of all final fantasy series. She was off the hook, prepare a 30 minutes to 2 hours session cause this fight will be epic... I played every FF series ever created and by far Ultimecia was the bomb. Best FF character? Squall was the baddest of all characters with the lionheart, it was 99,999... talking about rage, the guy seems like a wimp until all hell breaks loose, he will masacre sephiroth and cloud together 100 times over, he was and is the greatest ass kicker in ff series.

Worst FF game FFXXII, pure garbage, the reason I wont play another FF game. Worst company combo? squaresoft/enix. They have become greedy with the lack of the ambition of creating quality games, they have become greedy, stale and lack of focus with new developers guided by the fortitute of money londering in the form of software. I loved my Squaresoft and I hate squareenix.

Greatest GF in FF series? Knights of the round table from FFVII.

Final Fantasy 22? Are you from the future?

Hicken4082d ago

I... don't know what you're talking about.

I know what you're TRYING to talk about. But what you end up talking about is a mystery. I mean, Final Fantasy XXII? They haven't even released XIV yet(on consoles, anyway).

And GFs only existed in VIII(which appears to be your favorite; no arguments there, as it's my fave, too). Knights of the Round is a Summon, not a GF.

The rest of that rant isn't worth trying to decipher.

Final Fantasy I Pixel Remaster – Step Back in Time

Gary Green said: It’s interesting to revisit the roots of your favorite franchises to see first-hand what’s changed and what’s stuck around all these years, though perhaps ‘visit’ would be more accurate than ‘revisit’ since apparently, Europe wasn’t worthy of the original six Final Fantasy games the first time around. By the time we started getting ports of these iconic games, we’d already been through the PSOne JRPG golden age. So we’d already seen the best of what Final Fantasy had to offer, while these predecessors looked outdated, unrefined, and (dare I say it) ugly. We aren’t bitter about the delayed releases, honest…
