I worry that games like this will lag on a phone. Does it access a server or do you download the whole thing?

You download it, it's about 270MB. I think it would run very smooth on high-end phones.

Aha, finally a decent take on mobile games where they only sacrificed what they had to and didn't just make something they knew was boring from the off.

Definitely a great title. :) I haven't touched it in a LONG time though. It's note quite an Elder Scrolls game, but then again, few games are. Definitely worth a try though. ;)

I don't get it. Is this really a smartphone/tablet game? I mean where are the angry birds and thieving piggies lol

Seriously, ever since getting a tablet a little over a year ago I've been amazed at the wide array of games available. Yes there are lots of "casual" games but there are a growing number of games that would not be out of place on the Vita or 3DS. Bards Tale is another fine example.

One thing is for sure is that gamers are certainly spoilt for choice.
