Bungie's Destiny (possibly) not on PC Due to Very Stupid Thinking

Hardcore Gamer: Saying "nobody wants to" is (and I swear I'm not trying to be insulting) mind-bogglingly stupid. If you have to ignore the giant pile of evidence to the contrary in order make an argument work, it's a stupid argument. (Bungie, Destiny, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

Funny how the author complains about recharging shields allowing for bad game play, but then thinks only being able to carry 2 guns instead of ten makes for easier game play.

i really dont like the article so what if a keyboard can use 0-9 for weapons is it realistic for a person to hold that many weapons? how is tightening up the controls lobotomising the fps genre? i game on pc and prefer a controller and im not alone chances are this won't come to pc but maybe we could petition?

Well the game as a whole isn't realistic. However, controllers don't have the same amount of buttons as a keyboard, so a weapon wheel would work.

Agreed with everything else.

A hardcore gamer who wants to save at any time. Right.

Its not on PC because this might actually be a good game and there is no hi-end PC that can handle that.

Yeah, I really didn't care for this article.

WTH this guy is talking about. actually if bungie doesn't want PC version that's makes more sense than the bullsh!t that i just read.

I think the more logical explanation is that ActiBlizzard doesn't want to compete internally with Blizzards Titan mmo, which has been suggested many times is an FPS.

It won't be on PC because Bungie doesn't make PC games. Only Halo had a port to PC and it was poorly done by Gearbox. None of the other Halo titles were made for PC. Bungie has not made anything on PC for over a decade, they just don't have the experience even if they warranted.

Who cares I think Destiny looks generic, that is not good artwork and gamers are supposed to get immersed in that for 10 tens, ah no thanks.

I bet you they do have the PC experience...

It's not slated on the PC because there is nothing special about Destiny for the PC. The world they are trying to create has been done to death by people who are a lot more talented then them. So they are staying on the console in hopes of pulling a Halo. That is too release a very polished game, in this case a persistent MMO, that has already been done in PC land. Destiny looks very cool, but it is nothing special.
