Treyarch Studios, developer of “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2,” has publicly given their support to Bungie’s upcoming shooter, ‘Destiny,’ by openly the congratulating them on the game’s official reveal earlier today. Perhaps this is Treyarch extending their hand to Bungie, who are now working with Activision (the same publisher as Treyarch’s popular “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2’” game). Nonetheless, when the makers of the world’s biggest selling gaming franchise take notice of an upcoming game, it is quite a decent recognition to receive.
"One of Us, One of Us, One of Us"
I love Bungie but out of all the people to go with....Activision.....urgh
Some odd reason I can see Treyarch making the map pack sequels to whatever Bungie releases.
Somebody needs to get Bungie the memo: it's 2013. Show us some ACTUAL GAMEPLAY (more than two seconds of running up some steps) before you have the audacity to prod me to pre-order your shit, at the very least.
What they did was find a way to create a good FPS while working around the controls and limitations of consoles. That's great for console games, but that means nothing for PC games. They haven't negated the usefulness of m&kb, nor have they changed the way people play PC games. They're completely delusional.
They've got their heads shoved so far up their asses. Halo is big, yes it is. But it isn't the biggest IP in gaming, and it never was. It's also much less relevant than it used to be. And if anything, with Halo 4, 343 Industries has shown that Halo can not only survive without Bungie, but also that Bungie was Halo's biggest obstacle.
It's become increasingly clear that while Bungie knows how to create great universes rich with potential, Bungie also has no idea what to do with them. They completely mishandled Halo, and them leaving it behind is the best thing that ever happened to that franchise.
Kinda like how hell can freeze over.
