VideoGamer.com writes: In short, Bungie is creating a universe in Destiny. A living, breathing universe filled to the brim with lore, characters, nature cycles, environments, activities, AIs and quests for players to get stuck into. It's mind-blowingly ambitious and, from the outside, looks to be every bit as medium-affecting as Halo was back at the dawn of the 21st Century. There are still questions to be answered – and on a personal note, it would have been nice to see more than three minutes of in-game footage – but at the time of this writing, Destiny has gone from being a mysterious project Bungie are working on, to a certifiable monster of a game homing into view on the horizon.
one more thing seeing how this story been up for 17 min and no one commented on it must mean they are unaware this is the reveal video.
Reach engine isn't Bungie...??????
I'm not trying to sound like a fan boy or anything but I really can't see how you came to that conclusion, All they showed was concept art and what little gameplay was a avatar walking around with a gun, and that looks alot more fun than halo, really? You will need to see a lot more of this game to even see if its on the same level as Halo.
It does sound interesting.. but I have reservations. If its able to matchmake and allow random people to drop in/drop out.. it would use a similar system to Dark Souls,no?
Very interesting though....
When I read the article, reminded me of Dust... but better...
