Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Review | The Frag

Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is a game dripping with personality.

The music and the art style are a one-two punch to suck you right into the world.

The story isn’t the greatest around and it’s a grind at times, but it’s hard to not be immersed in the world for the entire game.

Even if you don’t like JRPG’s, it’s hard not to recommend this, as it’s probably the best RPG in the last five years. (Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, PS3) 9/10

I agree. It isnt often that i am sad at the end of a game but as i approach i almost want to slow down so i can experience it for a bit longer. Ill go for the plat just so i can keep playing. And some dlc would be great!

I want to try a JRPG. Honestly had no interest in the genre till I saw this and Persona 4 Golden. . Are they a good start for me?

You win either way. If it counts for anything the Metacritic score for P4G is higher then Ni No Kuni.

You can get Persona 3 via a ps2 classic download on psn for only $9.99.

It is my first experience with the Persona series. Look it up, and if it looks appealing I humbly suggest trying it.

I am really digging it. The second I am finished with Persona 3 I will be purchasing Ni No Kuni.

JRPG? Check out some of the Classic Final Fantasys on PSN. They're dirt cheap (5-10 bucks) and are arguably some of the greatest games ever made (1-9 should be available on PSN).

Working through the only title I havent beaten (aside from XII), which is IX, and I'm LOVING it.

I love most RPGs the best advice i can give for choosing an rpg is what films are you into, if you like manga for instance you will have an idea how rough some translations can be but they are better now.
Go onto you tube and watch a walk through of first 20 mins it may spoil the start but you would see it anyway in the first 20 mins anyway so not much harm done.
