The Crysis Series Is Not Finished Yet. Interview With Michael Read Producer at Crytek

www.Bone-idle.ie "BI: So is this the end of the Crysis series or just this segment?

MR: No it’s not the end, when we first started out we wanted to make a trilogy so this will be the end of this section. We have the nanosuit and sometimes that is a bigger character than who is in it. Prophet is a really strong character more so than Nomad or Alcatraz so people are going to really enjoy the closing up of this series." (Crysis 3, Crytek, Michael Read, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

The series was done with WarHead.

Crysis 2 and 3 were designed to attract the Cod crowd lol.

The Crysis Series was OVER after Crysis Warhead! The second Crysis went to New York I knew the series was headed for SUCKSville!

Crysis = CLASSIC
Crysis Warhead = CLASSIC
Crysis 2 = Meh
Crysis 3 = Meh
Crysis 4 = YAWN (Unless Crytek takes us back to Crysis Island and the wonderful Crysis 1 gameplay)

Not sure about classic.

Did not enjoy warhead.

Crysis 1 was decent.

Crysis 2 was ok for a close encounter, but crysis games have no soul.

That is the problem.

Series should be done with 3 and move on to something else.

Good
I have enjoyed the crysis series so far, yes it's nothing new interms on the FPS but its god at what it does.
Irishguy95  +   773d ago
Bah...move onto something else please. 3 Crysis games are enough

Yeah Crysis sells so well make more!
Erudito87  +   773d ago
crytek are poor coders
Wesley85  +   773d ago
Crysis and it's expansion pack Warhead were poorly coded agreed but Crysis 2 and 3? I think they were coded well and optimised rather good too. I think you shouldn't say a whole development house are poor at gaming based on one game release and it's expansion pack.
JedMan1985  +   773d ago
The Crysis series is amazing to me.
sandman224  +   773d ago
That's good to hear. And the main reason I say this is because I want to we crysis on ps4 and 720. Then I think console gamers will think differently of what this game can be.
Diffraction_Fos  +   773d ago
*YAWN* One Crysis game was enough. Warhead felt like an expansion pack. Crysis 2 was COD running on Cryengine. Crysis 3 looks like another Crysis 2. And I believe Crysis 4 won't be THAT much different, other than a new game engine maybe.
Pandamobile  +   773d ago
Warhead was an expansion pack.
Dilldo_  +   773d ago
Funny how people say Crysis 3 sucks without even playing it.. Bunch of retards.. Crysis 3 goes back to the way Crysis 1 is played.
Diffraction_Fos  +   772d ago
Takes one to know one, doesn't it? You haven't played it either.
Tyre  +   773d ago
yes, more Crysis. I love the Series! Re-release on Nextgen and a new addition...can't get enough of the Crysis. Love the story/characters/gameplay/grap hics since Crysis 1 and i don't feel entitled to make arrogant remarks about gamedesign & developers, who do people think they are? Pathetic spoiled hate mongers....Why don't u guys stop gaming if everything is so ordinairy for u and u think you know it all?
bubs78  +   773d ago
Crysis gone in a different direction as the interview states will be a good thing. Don't forget Farcry 1 was also Crytek.
