Behind The Music of PlanetSide 2

Video game music has long been a genre that is near and dear to my heart. Composers spend countless hours putting together the right mix of sounds to capture the raw emotion of the gameplay that often times are neglected by the intended audience (gamers). When multimedia composer Jeff Broadbent finalized the amazing score for Sony Online Entertainment’s MMOFPS game PlanetSide 2 (which is free to play by the way), players heard the sounds that express the story of the factions in the game.
