Ken Levine lets the lamb out of the bag, set to unveil new Lamb of Columbia trailer

For any Bioshock fan the word ‘Lamb’ should hold a very special meaning. As the main antagonist in ‘Bioshock 2′ many people felt that Sofia Lamb was one of the best characters the series produced so far.

We mention this because the series creative director, Ken Levine, released the second video earlier this week in the ‘Columbia: A Modern Day Icarus’ series, and on the official Youtube page inside the description of that video it was posted, “Lamb of Columbia?”. This of course had the Bioshock community tweeting and posting on forums all across the internet about how a ‘Lamb’ could find its way into the next installment. A daughter? A survivor? A sister filled with revenge? So many options, but you won’t have to wait too long to get a better sense of what will be in store for you when ‘Bioshock: Infinite’ finally releases. (BioShock: Infinite, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

It has nothing to do with Sophia Lamb. The "Lamb of Columbia" is Elizabeth, because lambs are traditionally seen as pure and sacred. The people of Columbia basically worshiped her, because she was seen as "pure", so she became known as the Lamb of Columbia.

Absolutely right, it is mentionned at the end of the second Icarus trailer. I can't wait to learn more about that mysterious Elizabeth. I got the feeling we are going to be blown away by some incredible twists.

There is something crazy going on. In Game Informer, it says to watch out for Anna, whoever that is. And then theres a scientific belief in parallel universes which fits in somehow with the tears and the songs that citizens sing. Also, levine said that this will be an experience unlike anything we have had. My mind is already going crazy with possibilities. The other bioshock could be another universe and our actual reality in which we r playing the game could be another. This would give credence to "Bioshock" as the name for all possible universes and many crazy worlds to come. Who knows but i cant wait.

"A daughter? A survivor? A sister filled with revenge?"

These guys are supposed to be journalists, yet they don't even know that Infinite takes place 40 to 50 years BEFORE BioShock 1 & 2? Come on guys, seriously, do your homework.

Yeah when I read this I was like are these guys f-ing serious?

Ken Levine didn't even work on Bioshock 2, why would he incorporate a character from it?

Silly article, but I can't wait for the new trailer. Marketing at its finest for a game that truly deserves it. Ken Levine is a genius.
