So...he found out that dipping a turd in 24k gold doesn't change the fact that it's still a turd?

I know right? It almost looks as good as what we were promised in the first place. Almost.

Too bad the game still sucks donkey d***. Gearbox is a filthy virus.......GearPox? O.o

Nah, it still looks far worse. All that did is change some settings anyone can do.

In no way did it bring back the atmosphere, textures, lighting, of the original demo. Nor did it add in the gameplay elements or in world 'items' that were taken out.

I'd say it's 5-10 percent better, still 90 percent short, graphically wise, and 100 percent short of the missing gameplay and items.

Broken AI, Story is illogical garbge. It's running in circles and shoot aliens, lack of proper animations. The maps are uther rubbish. Sorry envoirement artist and level designers, but did you play your maps once? There's no tatic. It's just "find the best spot to sit on" and stay there and shooting the aliens coming from two directions. Forget vents, they're placed almost randomly without strategic purpose. No effort has been put into this game at all. Do not buy it, especially not for the ridiculously high price on steam. this game would be somewhat reasonable at 10 dollars, but even then, do not buy it.

The Saboteur - criminally underrated and a fantastic mechanic of bringing colour back to Nazi-occupied Paris.

The article lists Bulletstorm, Sleeping Dogs, and Aliens: Colonial Marines.

Can't argue with any of those really, but I would add Resident Evil Operation Racoon City and Metal Gear Survive to that list. Both terrible games from good franchises.

Bulletstorm, I actually liked the gameplay but the atrocious writing and characters made me despise the game by the end of it.

I still play AvP on PS3 to this day. That game had fun multiplayer too.
