I like this news. I can't wait to see what the future brings for WWE games. I'm hoping for something along the lines of No Mercy gameplay to be honest.

Now acquire The Madden License and all will be good.

Theres a Madden license now? Not an NFL license? He has his own license? Wow..

Anyway. EA will never give up NFL it makes them so much money and has made them billions over the years.

Hopefully Take-Two realises that delaying sports games out of their release windows doesn't always work as well as it does for all their other games.

I'm actually gutted about this announcement.. It means the game probably won't evolve. The games been pretty much the same for many years now with new wrestlers... A new developer would have brought a new look and feel to the game.

i dont like it there will probley be crapy online once again do to them hiring thq team that worked on the game so basically its the same people making the game and take two is just putting there name on it.

2K games is fitting im happy to know that isn't EA or Activision.

Can't really say I like this. When EA was hinted at getting it, I liked it simply because of their MMA engine. I don't mind Take Two, however they bought the studio too so basically they are just slapping "2K" where THQ was and calling it a day?

I think the fact WWE was throwing a fit is why EA stepped away. It seemed like WWE didn't want the license going to them or Activision, and when it was Take Two they went "oh okay, never mind"
