Skyrim DLC for PS3: It Doesn't Matter if Anyone Cares

GotGame: It’s got the internet all a-buzz, but not necessarily from excitement: the pieces of DLC for Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will finally be making its way to the Playstation 3 console. Now, over a year after the game’s original release, many around the internet are asking the big question: does anyone care? Well, here’s the answer, folks: It doesn’t matter if anyone care that Skyrim’s DLC just made it to PS3. (PS3, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim)

I dont. I got my 150 hours worth out of that game, I have no regrets.

And I dont normally trade games but I didnt see myself playing it again, investing that sort of time so I did trade it.

I care. :) Like you, I had over 100 hours of a fantastic game on my PS3, but it left me wanting more. I'll be taking advantage of the discount for Dawnguard when it's available and Dragonborn today. As I've mentioned before, my time spent with Skyrim was almost flawless. Skyrim was one of my favorite games this gen along with Oblivion and Fallout 3 (which each had far more bugs than Skyrim). And Dragonborn has hardly been delayed at all. I don't get why we see so many "Does anyone care about this DLC anyway," articles. No one was saying that about Dragonborn's release on the PC a week or so ago. But hey, I understand the kids need some popular thing to hate. If it's not Rockstar, it's activision, or EA, or Bethesda, or Bioware, or Capcom, etc...etc.

A good game is a good game. I don't care how long ago it came out. I've said it before and I'll say it again, if I avoided every game the internet hated I wouldn't have played anything for the past decade.

I second that. I actually never owned Skyrim before, but I'm still thinking about getting it for the PC, because of the mods, once I get a stronger CPU, but I think of it like this, if there is a game that's so amazing and gave you a great time, it's worth the DLC's. Personally, I'm playing Fire Emblem: Awakening, and little needs to be said for how much I want the DLC's for the game, and hell even a sequel, or more missions to endeavour on.

I, once again, find myself in agreement with darkride. I adore Bethesda's RPGs and Skyrim is no different. I bought Dragonborn on Tuesday, and it's been so nice to have some new Skyrim content to go through. For the sale price, it's a colossal amount of content to go through. I am quite grateful Bethesda, please keep more coming. :)

yup, I hope the sales are next to nothing!

I want to play Dragonborn. I'm really excited about getting to visit Apocrypha. Don't care about the previous two though.

I bought Dragonborn and will buy the others. I put may hours into the game and find myself coming back. Now with new content I could add great number of hours more into it. Not to mention 50% off I can't pass on that.
