Imagine one model and two different bundles at launch and a regular one. A 500GB system with Killzone 4 as a bundle for all the Killzone/Shooter fans, A 500GB system with The Last Guardian for all the Team ICO/RPG fans and a standalone 500GB system for those that don't want any of the games for a reduced price, maybe?
I'm starting to set aside a little money every week, so I can go ape on launch day and buy everything I want. Can't wait!!! I like seeing so many others on the net excited too. My wife and friends don't really care, or understand how a grown man can get excited over a video game console, so it's nice to see that there are so many more like me out there... I don't feel so alone.
I'd love for Sony to use a CG trailer for Killzone 4 just for laughs
That and hell, I'd say Sony 'wins' randomly if they were able to keep FFv13 exclusive and made it a PS4 exclusive ontop of it and make everyone shit bricks. Like, what better than to break the silence with THAT kind of announcement?
I would love to see Uncharted 4, GT6, or a sequel to Heavy Rain as launch titles. Either way I'm most anticipating a launch date, so I can seriously start saving some $$. Since they are announcing well ahead of E3, you have to figure that E3 will be where they show off some games and trailers, and that Fall 2013 will be the launch window for the console.
btw, I'm with you guitarded.. many of my friends and my fiancee dont understand my videogaming obsession either! Out of all my close friends, only 2 or 3 are as passionate about gaming as I am!
i cant wait to see the ps4 and make it my background on my vita and ps3. hopefully the specs are announced and a lot of games are previewed demonstrating just how powerful the console is. i really want them to go into great detail about the console and to even give a release date and price.

I'd rather Sony pursue newer Ip's, thats why i've always liked there consoles you never know what your gonna get, I love nintendo consoles as well don't get me wrong I own all of them except the Wii-U but it's kinda boring and predictable when you realise that the best game on the system is gonna be either Mario, Metroid or Zelda title.
But it's always different with PS consoles whether it's MGS 1, SOTC, or Uncharted 2 you can always count on a new Ip being the centre piece of a Playstation console

they should confirm its PS4 to really have people tune in, I don't get why they didn't approach a TV network to show it live and get even a bigger audience

im buying two ps4's at launch! one to actually use and the other to have as a collection. Im sure there will be many different models of ps4 and there will be no first generation models left. I'll make sure to have mine.

i strongly think there will be two at launch a standalone and a bundle only makes since.sony is doing it now with the new slimms why not do it with a new system at launch heck even nintendo did it with wiiu. and with the newest ps3 systems coming with either a 250g or 500g hard drive i see ps4 coming with either one of those

My friends get excited about Motor racing. That just makes me yawn.
Each to their own but at least were engaging and interacting with our passion, not just observing it.
And age has nothing to do with it. I'll be almost 40 by the time I buy the PS4 but I hope I'll be gaming long after that.
