Metro - CES (Consumer Electronics Show) is rarely of any relevance to video games. The big three console manufacturers often don’t attend, and this year the only significant announcement from any of them was Microsoft’s IllumiRoom technology.
But that didn’t stop a flood of stories, from Nvidia’s Shield to Valve’s Steam Box, the Razer Edge (it’s second year at CES), and more on the Oculus Rift. But what it didn’t have is game announcements. In fact Nvidia almost seemed proud of the fact that no exclusive games were being announced for their Android-compatible handheld.
