Bloody Palace, other tweaks coming to DmC next week via free update

Capcom writes:

'DmC fans, I'm very excited to announce two pieces of DmC news today.

First, we have a release date for the long-awaited Bloody Palace Mode! This highly-anticipated mode will go live via a free update next week by the following time table:

North America - PS3: Tuesday, 2/19 | Xbox 360: Wednesday, 2/20
Europe - PS3: Wednesday, 2/20 | Xbox 360: Wednesday, 2/20' (DmC: Devil May Cry, PS3, Xbox 360)

Why wasn't this on the disc at launch to start of with?! I wonder what mastermind is making these decisions at Capcom HQ :s

I could understand characters being locked, but this is an entire mode that can't be accessed until the developer launched a patch for update and or DLC. It's okay in a way since it's free, but it should have been available from launch as part of the game without the need to update etc.

Devs and publishers shipping unfinished games again :-/
