this woman that doesn't even play video games started a kickstarter to buy some games and give her opinion about women in video games on Youtube. She said she only needed like a thousand or 2 to buy the consoles, games, etc. but ended up with $150,000. XD

Now why can't she buy herself some shoes with it? What other thing is she gonna do with all that money? Or do you really think she's gonna give it all to charity or something? lol

As for the shoes, it says right there in the article that someone photoshopped it, meaning that there are still people out there harassing this woman for shits and giggles, which justifies some of her misguided efforts.

First off, you can't prove she doesn't play games. For all we know you don't play games and you are only posting on this site to hate on her. Second, she ask for a few thousand dollars to do her whole informative bit about the role of women in games and media, but got a hell of a lot more after some idiots decided to slander her and say a whole bunch of terrible things about her because she dared question the role of women in video games.

Not everyone is trying to scam someone. There are people that are just trying to make this world better and there are people that will support them. Because like it or not, there are more good people in this world than assholes. Unfortunately, it takes something horrible to get us good people motivated enough to give a damn, but when we get motivated we get motherfucking motivated.

People who hate this woman have been trying to slander her for a while now and this is yet another example of it. Even if the shoes she is wearing cost $1000, that doesn't mean she invested the money people gave her into it. The more people hate on this woman, the more what she has to say will be heard. That's not the point here. The point is, she got a lot more cash than she wanted and people donated because they thought her "cause" was worthy. Not because they thought she could use the extra money to buy herself shoes. Look at whatever point you want, but it's not justifiable to spend a dime from those donations to buy yourself shoes. Not saying she bought it of course, considering there is no solid evidence.

And only thing she did since her Scamstarter ended was to appear on 2-3 crappy TV segments that blindly accused every single gamer to be misogynystic (the segments did this, not her) and writing about 200 words on a white board as a preperation for her videos. It's been more than six months and there's still nothing.

They gave her over $100,000 when she "needed" less than $10,000 to make some videos. Anita buying the shoes is an excellent troll (I hate Reddit anyway), but you don't need her buying anything to realize she's not going to spend all of that money for the original purpose for which it was given.
