Ni-Nu-Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch (PS3) Review | CineKatz

This is a different post on a variety of levels. First, it’s a video game review, something The Cinematic Katzenjammer has been dancing around for quite some time but never has seen one before. Second, this is also the unofficial, but official, announcement of Virtual Katz, a new section on the site that’s aimed to give you an insight into the world of video games. While games aren’t quite movies (yet), they have become increasingly more and more cinematic, with cut-scenes, motion capture technologies, and of course, voice acting. And, I figured what best way to introduce the feature than to review a video game that Studio Ghibli (yes, the Miyazaki owned studio) and Level-5 co-produced- Ni No Kuni.

The Cinematic Katzenjammer ( http://s.tt/1zIhR) (PS3, Sony, Studio Ghibli) 9.5/10

Your uninformed blatant jealously is hilarious.

Ni no Kuni is the top selling release in the world right now, and it's articles are among the most viewed on N4G.

That being said I do understand why you post on these PS3 orientated articles. After all, if you didn't and stuck to Xbox 360 releases, you'd only post once a year.

Oh look.
.
A person didn't like JRPG.

Saw a great score.

And commented with "no marketing."

That's sooo surprising.

Not.

No marketing and it sold some 540 000 copies after 3 weeks in the market. Impressive!

I absolutely agree with this quote- "
You can do a million different quests but if a game lacks a strong central plot, you’re left in the cold. Ni No Kuni’s main story line is far from weak, with themes you’d never expect to come across in a game that looks so innocent.".
There are some deep emotional encouters, I have found. The character "Drippy" is a neverending joy to see what he is going to say next!
