Might have made a slight difference to have this patch in place BEFORE reviews buried the game.

I don't think that patch would have helped, the game has pretty poor over all design even without the bugs.

I ended up taking a chance and buying the game today, after my above comment. The game isn't perfect by any means, but it doesn't really deserve a 5.5 average in my opinion. I haven't finished the campaign yet and haven't tried any online play, but right now my score is a 7 and I think multiplayer will be fun enough to bump it up to an 8. Obviously reviews are just opinions and everyone is entitled to theirs, but I think scores in the 6 to 8 range are reasonable. All those 2s, 3s, 4s, and 5s came from the type of people who declare a game utter trash if it doesn't play exactly like they want it to. Sadly that type is becoming the norm and I think gaming will suffer for it.

My expectations were so high. I'm disappointed with the glitches and bugs. Seriously, i went through a wall and saw the whole map layout like if you ever see Minecraft load all funky and you see the caves under the water.

Apparently the game was outsourced to Section 8 devs. It's not much of a Gearbox game. Not to mention the earlier first demo build from the game had a better atmosphere/darkness feeling compared to the released version. I'm not sure if it has to do with consoles but damn, the PC version seems lacking in detail.

They basically hype the crap out of this unpolished game and now they're selling DLCs for a ridiculous price. Campaign is WAY WAY short. I expected more from a game that was supposedly made by the Borderlands 2 devs.

I have completed the campaign. and I enjoyed it. The 3 things that bothers me in a negative way is the graphics. Theres is something not right about them. I am sure the graphics in the long preview from a while ago was much better.
There is also one other thing. and that is the graphics dont seem to load completely. I would look at something and it is all blurry, a few seconds later I am able to see clearly the texture of what it is. perhaps there is something wrong with my console.

finally there is screen tearing. I thought this only happens when games graphics are highly detailed-demanding much processing power. But like I said. this games graphics are nothing impressive so why would the console struggle. I apologise if any of that sounds stupid as I dont know the mechanics and only thinking up my own conclusions to the problem.

I dont see how anyone could enjoy something so broken, the AI breaks any immersion and difficulty.

The only reason people feel the need to defend this is a little need they have to feel different, this game is beneath garbage.
