SEGA have confirmed that Aliens: Colonial Marines will be getting four content packs, starting this March with Bug Hunt.
Too many games aren't given a second shot. We at VGU choose which games we would love to see receive a sequel.
The Saboteur - criminally underrated and a fantastic mechanic of bringing colour back to Nazi-occupied Paris.
The article lists Bulletstorm, Sleeping Dogs, and Aliens: Colonial Marines.
Player 2 takes some quiet time to look back at some of the most hyped failures of the past 10 years.
Can't argue with any of those really, but I would add Resident Evil Operation Racoon City and Metal Gear Survive to that list. Both terrible games from good franchises.
Bulletstorm, I actually liked the gameplay but the atrocious writing and characters made me despise the game by the end of it.
Thanks to a bustling mod community on Steam, Gearbox's Aliens: Colonial Marines actually has a stellar multiplayer experience to offer these days.
From what I've been hearing about this game, they'll better be free.
don't bother..
Content that should already be in the game, since it has a very short single player and only a couple maps for multiplayer. IT should be a crime to sell dlc that was obviously cut from the game like this. IT would be different if the game had alot a content from the start, but that's not the case here. This does not even consider how bad the game is on offer. I can't imagine many will buy any dlc for this game.
I should have waited.. bought the game the other day. Im a huge Aliens fan so anything Aliens ill enjoy. I just wish I wasnt so hyped for this :( AvP 2010 is more decent. This first dlc should have been included in the game, it better be free.
Going by the price of the dlc without the season pass, it would appear that there will be SP content on offer. That, or just overpriced MP maps.
Disappointed. SEGA dropped support on AvP 2010, and I wonder if they will even bother patching this game. Is the MP region locked like AvP? Anyone know?
