The Top Most 10 Desired Features For PS4

MasonicGamer.com: It seems that gamers aren’t ready to sever the links to previous generations of console games as ‘backwards compatibility’, at 71%, tops the list of desired features.

The study initially asked ‘With the announcement of the Playstation 4 on the horizon, what features would you like to see included in the design of the new console?’ and given a list of answers to choose from. They were allowed to select more than one option. The top 10 were as follows: (Next-Gen, PS4)

As long as it has BC for ps2 and 3 aswell as killer games I am happy, I don't play much online but if they make good use of Gaikai that is also a boost.

The Vita has party chat, So im sure the PS4 will have it aswell, And It would most likely be for free.

I wish someone invents a system where if you are disconnected from the net...your online game continues for up to 10 mins whilst the internet attempts auto-reconnect in the background.

In fact, I hope the next gen systems can do most stuff in the background with zero disruption to play time...e.g. patches/installs/lag free auto saving :)

Biggest feature for me is good exclusives and I'm pretty sure they have that locked up.

REALLY!? Smaller size is above affordable price?
and touch screen controller is above super HD and free online? Those are my personal 3 favorites (price, 1080p, and free online although that last one is almost a given). Sharing is far more interesting to me than a touch screen since that would drive up the cost too much and they'd have to make it less powerful to keep costs down like WiiU.

Don't care about backwards compatibly.! Have my PS3 for that.

Don't buy a PS4 to play PS3 games. That's for sure

I would like the PS4 to have backwards capability in-case my PS3 dies (hopefully that won't happen until long after it's discontinued).

Just keep the games coming and I'm all set brah

If they are really gonna include the new camera, then I want headtracking. Gran Turismo, Flight games and FPS games would be better. Just head-tracking while using my dual shock controller.

My number 1 desire for the PS4 right now is... To hear it be announced and also having a full blown blowout about the console and of course, the games.
