The Geek Link Episode 50: A Very Special Episode

This is our 50th episode and it is pretty much our one year anniversary (yes we are counting the several PAX and E3 episodes we did). As such we asked for our listeners to submit some of their favorite memories, those that answered we read on the air. After all the gooshy stuff Cannonfodder discusses Dead Space 3 and the multitude of at launch DLC. On top of that the microtransaction system has already been exploited. Then Smikey tells us how the used game retailer GameStop has rallied against Microsoft with the latest rumors of the new Xbox system blocking used games. Then Xalaga brings us the news that there will be a new Skylanders game coming out later this year called Swap Force that features mix and match figures. Is it enough to squash the upcoming game by Disney though? The Geek Link Kickstarter of the week is one Xalaga fully supports and backed. (Culture, Dead Space 3, GameStop, Kickstarter, Skylanders: Swap Force)
