Dammit Harmonix, Take My Money

Rock Band is one of the only games CGM can get their wives to play with me with almost zero coaxing. Unfortunately CGM has been running into the same problem over and over again. The problem is CGM would like to buy a Rock Band set and no one seems to want to sell CGM one. (Industry, Rock Band 3)

I didn't buy the Rock Band or Guitar Hero sets on launch - and regretted it once they went out of production.

I scoured ebay for over a year until I found a Guitar Hero set going for cheap (£30 inc postage!) It's near enough perfect condition...

Considering Harmonix is still selling DLC, I would like to think that they would do a limited edition Rock Band run every year, or at the last have an agreement with a third party to continue to sell branded peripherals. I guess it just doesn't make financial sense any more.
