Are you kidding? Where is Okami, Viewtiful Joe 2, God Hand and Psychonauts? You at least have to put Okami in there.Anyone that didn't play that game was seriously missing out. It still baffles me to this day how that game could have sold so little.

Haunting ground and Robot alchemic drive on ps2. Project gotham racing 2 and Crimson skies on Xbox. resident evil remake and Eternal darkness on GameCube. Shenmue, power stone and Skies of arkadia on dreamcast. Super mario 64, wave race 64, zelda oot, conker's bad fur day on N64.

I loved all of these games, but I wouldn't put any of them on a "must play before you die" list. I would, however, put Odyssey to the West on a "must read before you die" list. (The book Enslaved is based off of)

This isn't my list of favorite games, but they represent what I think are the most significant experiences you can have with video games.
Metal Gear Solid is my favourite game series of all time. You need genius-level intellect to tell head from ass of the story, but somehow Kojima makes it so it doesn't even matter. You can feel the emotions of the characters so much in MGS4 that it feels like you have been on the entire journey with them and are drawn completely into their world. Kojima not becoming a Hollywood director like he dreamed of has spawned a series that will stand the test of time (at least the original story). Thank you, Mr Kojima. We salute you
I don't like outdated games. I don't know why, it just feels like I am talking a step back. The farthest I would go back is PS2 era. Maybe I'm just not a "true" gamer. Off-topic - I really hope to see a "50 games to play this gen" list near the end of this generation. I would buy an Xbox just to complete that list (I sold mine end of 2011)
Out of this gen.. Top 10 must plays.. I'd say Skyrim, Fallout New Vegas, Dead Space 2, Uncharted 3, Red Dead Redemption, Sleeping Dogs, Dark Souls, God of War 3, Borderlands 2, and Far Cry 3.

Try the demo before you play.
Ristar was a really good platforming but,its not something you gotta play before you die.
Enslaved was okay,prince of persia sands of time/2008, or ico came before it,had a very similar concept,and in my opinion did it way better.
