The release date makes some sense. Sony has at least one exclusive title releasing each month up until June and in April, there is only Deadly Premonition. It would also release the same day as Defiance and I doubt that will hurt any sales Beyond: Two Souls will get.
It also gives God of War enough breathing room to Sell and spaced away from The Last of Us to sell well.
No matter what day it releases, I will get it day 1. Hopefully with the Blue PS3 bundle and Heavy Rain.
It should sell reasonably well. Heavy Rain did quite good, and considering it was single player only, it did very good sales wise. I will be getting this day 1 absolutley. The MMO Defiance comes out in April, and granted this date is true, April should be quite fun. Also, as it is a single player experience, I'll still have time for other games.
Heavy Rain is one of the best games this gen IMO, so a day one, 'play through the night' session is inbound. I'm prepared to be blown away.
Another case of a retailer putting up a placeholder date for a product and idiots attaching themselves to it and spreading it like it's valid. Sick of this. Now if multiple retailers put up the same date, that would be more of a talking point.
April would be a good month, but how is this anything other than what retailers do for most entertainment-related products on their websites?
i think i'll like this game more if they make the option to disable sixaxis control, i really enjoy heavy rain, but this doesn't mean i like those sixaxis control of this game
Ok, this would make sense, probably will be announced at 20th Feb event. Thus, GoW: Ascension for March, Beyond: Two Souls for April and lastly The Last Of Us for May. PS3 exclusive per month until E3 where we probably get the full reveal for the PS4.
Zavvi doesn't know crap. Though I do hope this releases soon :) been a while since we last saw it. Though I do feel an april release date is too soon. Little to no promotion since E3, and starting promotions this late would be a little bad.
I can't wait! Absolutely a day one buy, but I wonder if its a little too close to The Last of Us release. Just want this game to sell as many copies as possible.

Also when will Indigo Prophecy be released as a PS2 classic?
