Tomb Raider's Lara Croft: The Old and The New

Undeniably Lara Croft is one of the most famous and influential female game characters of all time and as you probably already know she is about to be given new life by Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix. Will this be a disaster? Will it ruin Tomb Raider forever? (PC, PS3, Tomb Raider, Xbox 360)

I will give the game a chance and let you know. Prior to release I can name quite a few games that took a different direction from older versions of the series. I surely thought they would be a disaster but ended up enjoying them. This may or may not be the case here. I hope game turns out good because I've always been a fan of the series.
