The most attractive feature of this new Alien game is the fact that every mode will give you the opportunity to take down some Aliens with your friends. GameVerb says main story mode allows you to play with up to three other friends, which will certainly make for some exciting battles as you explore details left behind from the films.
On top of the story mode, you will get the chance to battle it out in the game’s multiplayer, which includes a variety of modes including team deathmatch, escape, survival, and extermination. You will find yourself on both ends of the conflict, playing as either the marines or aliens which will force you to deploy different tactics along the way.

Sorry guys Its official GEARBOX is not that great of a game developer! Two reviews I have found on this game and I want to share them with everybody.

That's a link for one and the other one is just a post I had read where somebody saw a magizine be just released on stands and it received a 4 out of 10. The posted review score was a 6 out of 10 from the link I provided above! The game is being ripped apart! GEARBOX is a GARBAGE DEVELOPER! They just got lucky with Borderlands which is still a generic shooter to me! I don't like it. People need to stop praising them. They spent 7 years on this game and this is what they give us? GEARBOX your cancer on the Aliens Franchise and SEGA! I feel bad for Sega here the most because they put faith in GEARBOX and they produce this trash! I CANCELED MY PRE ORDERED COLLECTORS EDITION TODAY! I'm a huge Aliens fan! I really had faith that GEARBOX would deliver and they let down everybody involved! Don't spend your money on this please guys. GEARBOX needs to let some people go cause this kind of trash shouldn't of even been released! GEARBOX seriously 7 years and you produce this? Guys please...as a gamer I reccomend renting first you will be truly upset at the piss poor effort put into this game.
Oh and Durango is an old kit! All I can really say...they are watching.
dull graphics, Halo 1 like controls, action music all the time - no horror atmosphere at all, AI is dumb as f**k and always says the same ...
i could go on and on ... it's a really really bad game. i really wanted it to be good but it's one of these game where you just can't keep playing.

I mean, Aliens, Predator & many other movie based games, it is just beyond comprehension that these games can be continually screwed up......Many comic hero based games, are the same......there movie's content is so videogame friendly that it is humiliating as a fan of these films & lover of games, that I may die of old age, before EVER seeing a truly great, worthy game based on these universes that lend themselves so well to the whole concept of what a game is.
I mean, Starbreeze Studios can do it with movies & comics that you could understand a developer not quite getting it right, but Starbreeze truly have nailed it & are ONE OF THE VERY BEST DEVELOPEMENT STUDIOS ON THE PLANET.
I think Fox need to sought out Starbreeze to make the next installment in the Aliens game series. It seems they take the content seriously, & just nail it EVERYTIME. I mean, they are a developer that I have never been disappointed with. They do film licenses & nail it, they do a comic series, & they nail it (both of which, are series that do not translate easily to game as something like Aliens, Terminator, Batman, Superman or the like does), yet, even though they are faaaar more challenging & unknown to the masses, than these other series, Starbreeze are doing them, & not just well, but standout games as a whole in there genres (all of which just happen to be adventure based 1st person shooters)....And Starbreeze were even given the unenviable task of bringing us a new update on an old, highly regarded strategy game in Syndicate, & again, against the odds, even changing the game from strategy to fps genre (much to the dismay of fanboys), again, going up against it, Starbreeze delivered a AAA class game. In fact Syndicate is one of my favorite games this gen.
So, why can't these developers get it right. It simply must be that, the wrong developers are being picked to deliver us the type of experience we deserve. After they couldn't get Duke Nukem right with a 15yr development time between 2 separate studios, what the hell were Fox doing giving this game to such wishy washy developers.
