You don't even have to get into battles if you just run away. But that would be kinda stupid if you're playing on normal difficulty. My friend is way past Hamelin already and he's only level 25. I'm level 27 and I only just got done defeating the Royal Jelly. And there are plenty of opportunities to save in the game. You can save in the world map or in towns by pressing Triangle and then the Start button. I like how there aren't a lot of save points in dungeons to baby you throughout the game, otherwise it wouldn't be challenging at all just constantly healing your party battle after battle.

I think it is one of the best games of the generation. I got my Dinoceros. He takes a long old time to level up. I have Puss in Bouts (Clyde, lvl 82), Dinoceros (Othello, lvl 18) and a Greater Naiad (Shammy, lvl 76).

I'm on the final battle with the white witch and I'm entering a deep gaming depression because I don't want this game to end. Seriously though this is the kind of game that reminds you why you game and why you got into it on the first place. It's early to say, but def a goty contender.

55 is a little low. Do some Tokocold farming in the ivory tower.

In the past hour i beat the Guardian of the World, got my ass kicked in the last battle for the S rank in the Solosseum,& i need 4 more Scrolls of Truth to finally finish the last errand (which i hear will take a LONG time).

I have a lot alchemy to do to get the trophy & i need to either catch or raise 64 familiars to get the other trophy which will take a long time.

105:59:13 so far is my total playtime & i am still not tired of it.
