IGN: Which Publishers and Games Scored Best on Metacritic in 2012?

Microsoft scores higher than Sony.

No surprise.

Not as a console.

Most ppl bash IGN but with the exception of xcom, they were spot on with metacritics overall scores. Thats quite impressive.

Using your logic I should say PS3 scored higher than Xbox 360, no surprise. " Metacritic also released a console comparison: in 2012, PS3 games scored an average of 70.3, Xbox 360 games scored an average of 69.5 and Wii/Wii U games scored an average of 68.3."

You need to work on your trolling skills, they are getting really awful as of late.

Has IGN always wrote articles like these? I don't remember if they have or not.

In other words, which publishers had the most cheese to pay off as many top review mags/sites as possible (or at least give tons of free games to game "reviewers" who are so underpaid (and under-qualified for real work) that they are easily bribed with free games alone.

Ever since Unisoft got away with removing ads because of an unsavory review of Assassins Creed, almost every major gaming review site that depends on ads has been boosting up the scores of minuscule, redundant, lame, no-replay-value-having games from major publishers.

Atari VCS Review

The Atari VCS tries to do some interesting things but ultimately fails as a console and a PC alternative. It sets out to do some interesting things, but it doesn't do anything unique, and it doesn't do anything well. It definitely doesn't justify its price tag.

LOL! I figured it would be a waste of money especially for the asking price.

It’s as if Atari releases bad consoles on purpose.

If nothing else, par for the course, eh?

Higher score than I thought it would get, honestly.
