GameCentral Reader: ''I recently borrowed and completed DmC Devil May Cry. As a big fan of the series I gave this reboot a chance, unfortunately I must say that in my opinion DmC is a step down from the original series. When I say that I mean the two areas that the original Devil May Cry series means the most to me: the gameplay and the characters.
In the realm of gameplay I loved the original Devil May Cry series for its smooth, creative, chaotic, over-the-top gameplay where you had to work for that SSS rank by switching weapons and styles on the fly, you could tackle any enemy anyway you wanted as long as it was stylish enough''
NVIDIA continues to add games to GeForce NOW. This week, Devil May Cry 5, Gears Tactics, and The Crew Motorfest lead the charge.
Characters in hack and slash games are always badass. Guess what? this list is also badass. Here are the best hack and slash games on the PS4
Future Devil May Cry titles could benefit from honing in on the horrors of its world, building off the qualities of its most recent entry.
Yeah. I can see Devil going darker. That's where the comic relief of Dante would equal out the mood.
Would also be awesome is if Capcom added a VR mode and playing Sairento style. Sairento VR showed you can do many popular action games like Devil May Cry in VR. Just look at the list:
Front flips
Back flips
Side flips
Sliding
Bladed weapons
Throwing weapons
Hand guns
Hand attacks
Running along a wall
Jumping off a wall to attack
Slow mo
Everything but the feet. That's Sairento. DMC VR or a mode would be amazing.
Neros and Nico had a great comedic chemestry, laughed my arse off haha.
i want both to return.
I could see the twins exploring their past and flashback sequences playing as young Vergil running alone from demons being more horror oriented. I also understand that would not be in line with dmc's gameplay so maybe leaving that to DLC (lol capcom doing a new story content as DLC on a dmc game) would be the better option
As much as most reviewers are trying to promote and defend this game, its time they accept that it was poorly presented. That not only did Capcom and NT failed to attract new fans, but they alienated too many of the old.
This is a serious question coming from someone who has yet to play the new DmC.
If the game had absolutely nothing to do with Devil May Cry, and was a brand-new franchise entirely, would it still get comparisons to Devil May Cry from the gameplay aspect? What I'm trying to ask is whether the gameplay really is like older Devil May Cry games, and if so, in what ways?
I'm still very divided on whether I'd like this game or not, and getting some feedback from those who've played it would be appreciated.
By the way, I read the article and just would like some other opinions.
Don't we have enough games wit Devils and Fire in them ?
seriously beyond uncreative
Or, I dunno, maybe some people can like the game and some people can't, and that's okay?
wow, the crybabies must've dug deep into the internet to find the one less-than-positive review of this game.
