Soo this artbook is not even hardcover??? And what about sneak peek at the us edition with that expensive lamp I hope to be even worth that much

Art books are the most lazy inclusion in so-called special editions. The artwork available in them can most likely be found online in pristine detail anyway, and I doubt anyone looks at them for more than a few minutes before never touching them again.
But they make the box feel heavier, and that's all that counts for the publisher. Put some meaningful extras in the special editions, preferably something which actually benefits the game in some way. Extra content that can only be had via purchase of the special edition would be the best thing - an extra level or two, extra characters and weapons that will never be available via DLC...that would make the special editions more desirable. Certainly more so than a lame art book.

I have to disagree with you. I love the art book that was included in the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection. It's mostly just art from metal gear 2,3, peace walker, with little tidbits about the main characters. I love seeing it in my book collection. im not a game collector, so when i fully beat and enjoyed a game, i sell it. however, that book will be in my collection for the rest of my life. Sometimes it's nice to have something more than the game itself.
