Top 5 Wii Games Destined to Become Classics

Like a fine wine or cheese the Wii has aged. With the Wii U now out for a few months, and Rayman Legends delayed, now is a good time to go back and play some Wii classics. Zack at Nintendo Gamer Thoughts takes a look at 5 of them. (Nintendo, Wii, Wii U)

"The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess will always be looked upon with memories of the Wii"

I played it on the cube but I look back on when I walked into the front room and my bro was playing a pre-owned copy on the Wii and thinking:

"What the hell, the game world is mirrored!?"

Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess will be looked back upon as a classic....on the Gamecube.

even though the Wii version doesn't offer camera control with a second analog stick like the GameCube version did, it did have better aim controls and displays at 16:9 wide screen.

Skyward Sword was far from perfect, but it was a step in the right direction, we got some amazing antagonists, the relationship between Zelda and link got developed a bit. Dungeons were different on how you went about it.

However, there were still plenty of faults Fi was awful partner to bring up when we just had the BAWWW ending with Midna. Skyloft was as dead as the ocean in Wind Waker. We need a more vivid and livelier land for Hyrule.

Yeah motion sensor was cool, but still the combat was actually deeper with the cool moves in Twilight princess than SS. If were going to continue with motion controls then get a more creative Ninty.

Eh?
Everything ages, not just wine and cheese!

Aged wine and certain cheeses are considered a good thing. They gain value and flavor.

The idea is that a console becomes more appreciated over time.

I kinda had my tongue in my cheek there. I meant that there should be another few words in that opening sentence. "like a fine wine the Wii has aged wonderfully" or such like.
Not just it has aged! My Mrs has aged too, and not very well I can tell thee lol.

Somewhat of a poor selection. I'd say Muramusa, Donkey kong country returns, Zenoblade, Sonic colors, Zelda: skyward sword.

(Skyward Sword is #1)
I do think it's weird they put two Zeldas on there.
