Dead Space 3 Review: Good, But More Shooty Than Scary | ITProPortal

The worst thing about Dead Space 3 is that, while it shares a story and an aesthetic with its predecessors, it doesn’t really feel like a Dead Space game. 6/10

This game is really good, sucks that a lot of reviews are saying the gane is "okay" I'm having really good time playing it on Hard. And the drop in drop out system works pretty good too. But unlike the first game ammo is pretty much everywhere, if I hadto have a complaint that would be it. But other than that 8 or 8.5 have at least

I agree with you 100%.I dont belive the majority of the people have actually played this game that have there opnions in here.This game is fantastic and the coop is perfect.It runs smooth and playing with someone else is a blast.the game still has all the scraes the first one has.6/10 is absolutley bullshit.This game is an easy 8.8. and nothing less.Im tired of all these no name reviewers just coming with such garbage.If you want real reviews follow the people who know wtf there talking about.

I know, initially it seemed like it would be much different but after the first four chapters it feels very similar to part 2. I just crash landed on Tau Volantis and the game feels very cool with the entire artic planet filled with blood thirsty necromorphs, it's different but in a good way. Gameplay and graphics are crisp and smooth, I can't believe the hate this game is receiving!

The game is actually good, don't know what the hell is wrong with reviewers these days.

Dead Space 3 is more like Dead Space 1 than 2. The same thrilling moments are there, the fluid combat and craft system makes the game more enjoyable. Currently, i have ended it and started a playthrough in Hardcore more and looking forward to it.

Dead Space 3 has been an epic run, the last 4 chapters especially, the whole machine, "Make Us Whole" and the last boss battle, amazing. If i were a reviewer than in most honest opinion Dead Space 3 should have gotten a score more than what Dead Space 2 got.

And the scene after then ending credits, those two words. I really hope that i get more of the amazing franchise that is Dead Space.

Then play it on Pure Survival there are no Ammo or Health drops. there your complaining has been quelled. And for those saying (its not like DS1 or DS2) Play Classic Mode. it takes away the co-op and alot of the guns, reduces health and ammo drops. And for those saying its not Survival horror play HARDCORE mode. yOU Get one life and when you die you start over no matter where you are at chapter wise.

It's not about the games modes. It's about the game itself. It's about the changes they've made & EA not listening to the fans.

The score is well deserved imo.

They didn't focus on the elements that made the first two games brilliant. Now they introduce shooting set-pieces, co-op and other elements that were not needed to appeal to a wider audience.

I don't care for the disagrees. But if you disagree, at least let me know your point of view.

I'm not complaining. I said If had a complaint that would be it. Thanks for your input though. anyway I always finish games on Hard then do what ever is the Hardest difficulty when I finish the game once. Thanks for breaking down game modes we all know about by the way.

I was fearing the worst, but actually, now that I bought it I'm enjoying it. No, it isn't as scary as the last two games and the horror is non-existent with a co-op partner, but it's a great action game nevertheless.

I hope they make DS4 (if there is to be one) as scary as the first two though.

Dead Space 3 cannot hold a candle to Dead Space 1/2. As an action game, DS3's pretty much like the Resident Evil 6 fiasco....action high, scares low.

I actually enjoyed RE6, but I concede it is far removed from what made the series special.

Dead Space 3 is not a bad game, I'm just surprised EA/Visceral took this direction with the 3rd instalment.

I have it, like the SP so far but i wasnt scared from this game like i was with previous DS games. Also, universal ammo was a dumb idea.
