Latina gamers say women carving a space in video game industry

Picture it in your mind. Someone is furiously tapping buttons on a video game controller, as the characters roam on-screen running, jumping and navigating the course.

Well, what did you picture? Most people would say a young male — but a crop of women gamers say they’ve been there all along and are rapidly becoming part of, and being sought by, the video game industry. (Industry)

I think this is great because new game ideas will come out of this. You can look at many game companies studios & you will see that there is just a few women making games on that team.

So I hope in the future women can have just as many women as men on the game development teams. Also with more women making games females will start looking like real women in video games instead of fake fantasy females. I can't stand how you always see females not wearing much clothing & huge breasts.

I have many female friends & they don't look anything like that. So why can't developers make them more realistic. Instead of fake looking. So to to me more female developers is only a good thing.

Because of all the new ideas, stories & art styles that will come from having more females will be great.
