Just got this a week ago and I love it. It's funny I thought it was kinda ugly from pictures but once I opened it and set it up it looks really good I think.
just go to amazon and get a hdmi for 6 bucks and for the guy to say its not worth it because the games aren't technically free is a bluff and I call shananigens on him . u cant get aps3 period for 199 new . hell a 160 gig cost 250 with nothing in extra and , if u want more storage u have to pay the price no matter what u buy pc, wii u ,360, ipad.
Why negative points for not adding HDMI cables or composite. It's not a new consoles in the aspect of the Wii U or something. If it was I would be more inclined to agree but since its not, I disagree. Now I know its a remodel of the PS3, but not everyone uses the HDMI cables, I do but my cousins don't and they have HD TVS.
Also, just because you don't use them, that doesn't mean they shouldn't be added. They should add both HDMI and SD cables in the box of their next console for those that still use non HD TV sets. This is generally speaking and not just about Sony, Microsoft as well should add HDMI and SD cables into the box of their next console.
Also, in a way the games are free because the consumer was given a year of plus inside the box. And they don't have to pay for the game(s) itself to download once they redeem the voucher code for PlayStation Plus.
I like the New PS3 Super Slim, I bought the Black one and it's okay, but it gets loud and I tend to forget to close the door when taking my games out of the console. I'm so use to the Slim ps3, the phat PS3 and the 360 (tray closing when the system turns off). I will get use to it at some point, but after seeing the Garnet red PS3, I will wait for that one instead of getting the White one.
i want it along with the white AC vita but im not spending JACK on any systems until PS4 hits the store.. Cant wait for it either.. My wallet has been ready!
