After cutting Bradshaw, Boley and Canti. Hopefully the Giants can get Cruz, Nicks and JPP decent contracts and we can draft some defensive players. Still disappointed that we blew it and didn't make the playoffs since Eli is always on fire in the post season.
I hear you. I skipped every NFL game between 2006 and 2010. When I finally decided to pick up Madden NFL '11, only then did I feel/see a big leap between the games.
I'm thinking I may pass on anymore Madden games this gen and wait till Madden makes it's debut on XBOX720/PS4.
@HorrorGod - I'd even wait a year or two after the first release on a new system. I can't see it being that great after releasing on a new system. They would (most likely) have to learn how to program for it, first. At least efficiently.. that would take away from other ideas, and such.
I have done the same. I get Madden about every 2 or 3 years. My hope is that when they jump to next gen that they actually create a NEW engine. I am sick and tired of the engine tweaks that we have endured from Madden. All of the legacy issues are still hidden in the engine. But, I will probably wait until at least the second iteration on next gen consoles as well...just so that they can get the bugs out.
@kalkano - That's fair. But, to my point, still.. is look how un-polished the games are. Even though it's still in the same gen for a while now, there's still bugs. The games still have lots of problems. They are always trying to change it up. And, what about building a new engine for the next generation of consoles?
With that said, Cruuuuuuuz better get my G-Men another Lombardi trophy next season.

@KaBaW: I only disagree because I think the generation jump this time around, programming-wise, won't require massive changes.
