Nerdluster: Even with pretty graphics, a complete story, and beautiful music it's Ni No Kuni's gameplay that sets this RPG apart from its peers. Level-5 should be commended because the JRPG sphere is already dominated by a very particular gameplay style and their team managed to differentiate itself not only with content but with fun & simple interactive elements.
Pre-orders for the special edition suffered from reservation problems that led to many fans not receiving their copy of the limited edition collectables. It's also sad it took this long to come to North America because it would have made a great title during the middle point of the current console generation. As it stands beginning its run near the end-of-life phase on the PS3 it will not drive new console sales like a launch title would. That being said Ni No Kuni is an amazing RPG title that mixes elements from Final Fantasy, Pokémon, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and Kingdom Hearts. With creative professionals from Studio Ghibli providing an engaging story, beautiful design, and soulful music what's not to like? This is a definite buy.
90/100
You aren't too much farther. I'd say about 5-8 hours or more depending on how quickly you are able to beat some of the bosses. Maybe more if you have to train. I was already overleveled, so I was able to go through the ending part of the game really quickly. Be careful though, some of the final boss fights can be very tough. I came very close to dying once when facing Shadar and I was something like level 60, which I think is a fair level.

But, you will enjoy the ending of the game. It was pretty fun.
I'm quite a ways past that part. But if you want any pointers or have any questions, you should add me on PSN.
