Activision Casts Doubt On 2013 Release For Bungie's Destiny

Robert Purchese: ''Activision cast doubt on a 2013 launch for Bungie's hotly anticipated new game Destiny during its annual money meeting last night.'' (Activision, Destiny, Next-Gen, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

Destiny Xbox720 Exclusive
No way destiny launches on the Xbox360, the 360 is on auto pilot and MS has moved on to the 720!

Destiny will be pushed back, refined, and marketed to move units for the Xbox720!

Also Microsoft may just toss Activision enough cash to once again have Bungie Exclusively making games for Microsoft!

Makes perfectly good business sense seeing how Blizzards next MMO "Titan" is set to launch in 2014/2015 so why have a Bungie's Destiny PC project competing with Blizzards Titan PC Game?

Bungie.....just when you thought you left Microsoft you really didn't!

Makes sense, I have no Idea why they would release destiny and Cod is the same quarter. I imagine destiny will be pushed til May 2014. Its a shame, Having it at the 720s launch could have swayed alot of people next gen purchase IMO.

But regardless when it comes out its still xbox720 exclusive, for a while anyway! So it could still push hardware when it ships.

Prefer it to be a next-gen game tbh. Also, when does it come out for the PS4? I just want a straight answer. The dates have never been set in stone. Why would you pay to have a timed exclusive game? Seems stupid. Can't wait for more news on it in the next few weeks though.

Well if it goes to next gen systems or whether it doesn't, Xbox will apparently have the game one year before Playstation will have it.

Well according to article Xbox version was supposed to come in 2013 and PS4 version in 2014. Also with PC version. Now if Xbox version slips into 2014. Likely PS4 version stays in 2014 as well. If they are really going to push this to be a successful franchise every 2 years with a new title then the development can't be to far out of sync between the platforms.

Good, bring the trilogy to next gen consoles only. I'll be picking it up on PS4 or PC........... OR Durango if thats the only next gen console it lands on first.

Activision NOT trying to force an early release date for a developer?
Activision giving people time to breathe and plan their dev-cycle out?
Truly the end-times are upon us.
