Sadly they won't be able to by themselves, Home is still primarily a Second Life on the PS3, thus the reason it is irrelevant to a lot of gamers. I still check in every now and then, but nothing makes me stay 2-3 hours like other people do. I wonder what Sony will decide to do with it when PS4 comes around...
In a Home article why does there ALWAYS has to be some A-hole who has to say 'Home doesn't interest me and is irrelevant to lots of gamers. I never stay for very long but I do check every now and again?' Dude, no one cares.Just because it is irrelevant to you and your circle of friends doesn't mean it is irrelevant to everyone. People are in Home constantly and fill up the worlds as soon as they get a new one.Don't generalize just because you don't like to use Home.
@Smashcrash, and there's always a little sensitive kid who can't handle an opinion. Fill up the worlds? The hell? There's a bunch of spaces that are dead empty, private mansions and virtual clothing is more in demand than gaming spaces themselves. The gaming industry has shunned Home since its arrival, like ftwrthtx said, there needs to be a hook, other wise it's going to remain a Second Life and soon become even more irrelevant unless Sony does something about it.
I thoroughly enjoy home for unique ongoing experiment that it is. Even if you have no games at all, (which would be rare) Home can still be used by any ps3 owner with a psn tag.
Edit:I they'll bring back the gamer lounge or at least up date it.
Maybe they need a Facebook App that works in conjunction with Home.
The PS4 might make it more interesting, but it also might make it an endangered species
