With downloadable content for major titles continuing to attract controversy, disgruntled gamer Dave ‘Mack’ McConkey takes a look at four types of DLC that he absolutely loathes – and explains why every one of them is nothing less than abhorrent.

Yeah I remember ME3 day one dlc. Protheon Squadmate who fought the Reapers before and gives insight on the oh so important Protheons in ME Universe. Ten dollars day one even if you bought game new (except Collector's edition)
Capcom knows people use to work hard at a game to unlock the clothing for street fighter that's why they are charging for it that way they know people will pay
Well, I'm glad to say that when these tactics are being used for basically every game in the future, that I supported none lf them. Also, I bet those same people who gave money to these dirty tactics will jump on the 'angry mob' side, even though they were originally defending it. Online passes have already transitioned into single-player locked content passes.
Basically, you are free to support whatever dirty tactics you like, I will not judge. But when it becomes an epidemic, man the F*** up and accept that YOU were partly responsible. Don't you DARE blame other people. Good day :-)
I do not support ANY DLC. I have not, and will not purchase any of it. I wait for the GotY edition for 19.99 that already includes ALL DLC. While I may not play the games when they first come out, I get ALL content and do not get nickel and dimed to death. If more people were smart they would wait a few weeks/months after release as well. It is amazing how quickly the prices start to fall.
Definitely agree with the crucial day 1 DLC is ridiclous
I think the DLC that are just skins for characters are bad and dont understand why anyone would pay for that
